Accreditation and logbook guidance

Accreditation and portfolio support

This course is designed to provide robust academic and clinical support, guiding you towards formal accreditation.

The dual requirement for full accreditation

Achieving Level 2 Oral Surgery Accreditation requires two components:

01
Academic component

Completed through this certificate course.

02
Surgical logbook and portfolio

A comprehensive surgical logbook and portfolio of evidence, developed through your clinical practice.

To develop your portfolio, you are required to engage in self-directed clinical learning and actively work in a dental practice, community, or hospital setting to build your surgical logbook.

If you do not have a suitable clinical setting, you can still complete the academic component and will be awarded the Certificate.

This course provides dedicated guidance and support for your personal portfolio development.
